“This sound sculpture and performance, “Out of Body” is a meditation on the impermanence of our corporal existence, with specific focus on the transition out of life, This last time of life seems, by abundant accounts, to be very peaceful for many people. In the making of this work, I have drawn on my own near-death out-of-body experiences as well as from my work as a Registered Nurse assisting many people as they transition out of their bodies into the mystery.”
